Learning about the Past: During my time in Cambodia, I took a journal with me to write down things that I considered important to know, places I visited, and people I met.

Khmer food has a mixture of sweet, salty, sour, and spicy! I’ve enjoyed the many different flavors. Here are some dishes I’ve tried so far!

Two of my favorite worship songs that we learned during our time at UofN Battambang! The pronunciation was written by some of our students and it was so helpful to have during worship times and community events.

One of our team members from School of Worship needed to go to the embassy in the capital of Cambodia, so both of us ended up traveling to Phnom Penh during a school week. With no knowledge of Phnom Penh (except the first night I arrived from the airport in June), I started to research and get information of how to get there, and what kinds of things we needed to do.

Another live blog post! Jackie and I went to this new pizza place in Cheung Chau (they have only been open for 2 weeks now!) and we met the couple who run the place. A really awesome surprise — they are from Argentina!

I recently posted a short comic strip on my social media sharing some snippets of my life as a “Third Culture Kid”. Out of this time of sharing these silly stories and experiences living abroad and not knowing exactly how to respond the question of “where are you from”, drew me to ask myself some more questions!
